1. Information We Collect
Vortiq ID Information: When you create a Vortiq ID or sign in, we may collect your name, email address, user ID, authentication provider, creation date and status. Sign-in can use email/password, Sign in with Apple or Google sign-in.
App Profile Data: We store basic Vortiq ID and access details, such as subscription or access status, active product ID, purchase provider and related metadata.
Flight and Operational Data: The app may store flight data you enter or sync, such as SimBrief username, callsign, route, airports, aircraft, fuel, performance values, briefing data, weather, logbook entries, checklist data, scratchpad content and app preferences.
2. Third-Party Aviation Services
Vortiq EFB can connect to external services for aviation data, including SimBrief, VATSIM, AviationWeather.gov, IVAO and SayIntentions when you enable or use those features.
Only the information needed for the feature is sent, such as a username, callsign, airport ICAO code or API key.

- Provide and maintain the app
- Authenticate users and manage Vortiq IDs
- Sync and show flight, weather and briefing information
- Store preferences and operational data
- Manage Vortiq ID access and subscription status
- Provide support when requested
4. Data Storage
Vortiq ID data is stored securely for Vortiq ID and access management. Flight data, app settings, scratchpad data, logbook entries, weather preferences and similar operational information may be stored locally on your device.
Some data may be retrieved from or sent to third-party services only when you use the related feature.
5. Payments and Subscriptions
If subscriptions or purchases are offered, payment may be handled by Apple through the App Store or by Stripe on the Vortiq Studios website. We do not collect or store payment card details.
We may store limited purchase metadata, such as provider, product or price ID, subscription status, expiration date, customer ID and transaction or subscription ID, to manage access to app features.
6. Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your Vortiq ID and related Vortiq ID data by contacting us. The app may also provide an Vortiq ID deletion option.
Some local data may remain on your device unless you delete the app or clear that data manually.
7. Security and Children
We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
Vortiq EFB is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Important Use Notice
Vortiq EFB is made for flight simulation only. It must not be used for real-world aviation, operational flight planning or real aircraft performance decisions.
